My Acceptance Letter

Dear Brethren,

I accept the call to serve as a disciple of the Lord with great eagerness and humility. I feel truly blessed to have the opportunity to serve Him and proclaim the gospel in the country of Perú.

I have never in my lifetime felt a more powerful and direct message from the Spirit than I felt at the time of my decision to serve a mission. As I received my call to serve, I again felt a similar message from the Spirit testifying that this is the Lord’s will. I feel that this call and assignment are inspired, and are part of God’s timing for me and also for those whom I will serve.

I know with an utmost surety that Jesus Christ of whom I will teach is the Savior of the world. I am humbled to be able to represent him and teach His gospel. I pledge to serve the Lord with all my heart, might, mind and strength while on my mission and for the rest of my life.  I look forward to serving and know that as I do my best to match the Lord’s guidance that he will direct my mission.
